All is not well in RIAA-land, you might say. Frequent losses on the legal front, which have become broadly-publicised, has urged wily nerds to trackless scrutiny, suspicion, and blackhattery.

Users on Reddit were dabbling in an ultra-slow SQL query after discovering that the RIAA servers were susceptible to MySQL injection attacks. Another user decided to up the ante and nuke the entire contents of their database. You can read more about it over at TorrentFreak.

Thanks to forum-goer Thelemech for the tip!

I reposted it as news because it's an important event, not a fun little one-off like shorties should be.

I am only able to post anything I find to be of interest (news stories etc) via the shorties section. And yes I would agree that it is important news.
    Cheers.
