MS gives green light to virtualized Vista

<p>In June 2007, Microsoft announced that it would not be lenient about allowing would-be owners of Windows Vista to operate their potential purchased in a VM. In a <em>complete</em> about face, Microsoft has <a href="http://www.neowin.net/news/main/08/01/21/microsoft-allows-all-vista-skus-to-be-virtualized">altered the EULA</a> to allow any and all versions of WinV to be virtualized such as with VMWare. The EULA now states:</p>

Instead of using the software directly on the licensed device, you may install and use the software within only one virtual (or otherwise emulated) hardware system on the licensed device.

<p>Maybe Microsoft realized that they could sell more licenses if people didn't have to tank their computer with its rusty boat anchor of an OS. </p>
