As Canada goes through the growing pains of handling intellectual property rights, just as the US did in 2000 and is still attempting to wrangle, evil things are on the horizon. IP lobbyists in ye olde frozen north are pushing for the ISPs to be responsible</a> for the actions of their users.

Not much more need be said about this matter, as the obtuse absurdity of it is immediately apparent.

Are you kidding me ? lol

ISP will never be able to assure that all their users are doing only 'good' things. At least i hope so :P

I pay my internet bill every month and i will use it to do whatever i want to do with it ;)

This is the beginning of a very draconian copyright law that I suspect Canada to be preparing to unleash on it's unaware citizens; with zeal. It is now a criminal offense to be caught in a movie theatre with a camera. Will they stop bending to hollywood pressure there? I believe that they will not. It is my prediction that in the not to distant future Canada may end up with the strictest laws on intellectual property, in the west..
