HACKED!! helppp

hey guys!! i REALLY need your help!!!!
i recived this message from my friend but i dont think he sent it to me, he doesnt know that his email hacked...is there anyway to find out who actually sent the message?? like the origin of it, and what city it came from??

    How do you know he didn't send it to you? Depending on what the message was, there are alot of jokes sites that make it look like they're from people, but underneath in smaller font (if you use LiveMail) it shows the address it's REALLY from. I recieved a "message from the future", which was apparently from my Email Address... Looked closer and it was a well known joke-card site.

    i called him....
    he told me that it wasn't him and his mom told me that they dont have a computer and hes been home al day

    it doesn't show the actual email...

    i use hotmail...

    lol- Do you mind sending/hosting/posting a screenshot of the mail? Forgive me if I'm not allowed to ask for this information, I'm new(ish) here so I dunno :P Not to see the personal information, just to see if there's anything about the sender you missed

    You can't. It's probably just an automated emailer that was generated randomly on someone's computer in far away Asia. It's spam, and just wants you to open it (Like you did).
