Downsampling/converting?
Hey, guys and gals -
The madre picked up an Archos 705 Wifi 160gb for a present for herself, and likes it. Only problem, it can't take files bigger than 2 gigs. We bought the Cinema plugin, so it can handle mpeg2 just fine, but the files she wants on there are 4, 5, 6 gigs big (HD stuff). Obviously it's not going to end up HD on the Archos (only 800x480), but I just need a (most preferably free) program or method to downsample my massive mpeg2 files into sub-2-gig episodes. You'd be surprised how many options I've gone through already trying to find something.
Please help me, Icrontic. You're my only hope.
