Adding a custome "My Documents" like directory to XP

This is for my PC at work. Since our company handles high priority documents, we created a policy on the domain that redirects the My Documents folder to a server folder. I already know how to change this back to any folder I want, this is not what I'm asking.

I have a lot of big files that I normally keep in the My Documents folder so our backup method, obviously, isn't ideal for my trend. What I'd like to do is create my own custom My Documents folder that I'll dub "My Local Documents." I think I saw a guide to doing this a few years ago so I believe it's relatively easy to do.

Not really a big deal but it will be neat if I can create this
Thx in advance...

Just create a folder called 'My Local Documents' put it anywhere you want. Or am I missing some hidden reasoning as to what you want to do?

That's what I'm currently doing. I'm really just wandering if it's possible to create additional folders like My Documents, My Pictures, My Whatever...

The whole idea stems from our clients throwing misc crap into their My Documents folder which originates on our file server. It seems like people have this trend of putting every file under the sun in their My Documents which, I suppose, is what it's intended for. Though, since Office, Adobe and a few other applications we use default to My Documents, we had to redirect the folder to the file server because some very important files weren't getting backed up.

Wow, this is really getting away from the topic.

Essentially I'm just asking you, Icrontic forums, in your experience, have you ever seen any way to create/add a folder to the system that's recognized by windows as a "My Documents" type folder. (i.e. It'll show up in the "Save in:" field on the left side of the menu when you Save As)

To get the fancy folder effects you need to use a program like TweakUI (I think that's the one) to do that. But it can be done.
