Problem With Call Of Duty 4

I play multiplayer in COD4....but when i play on punk buster enabled servers i get an error message as soon as i play the game "corrupt files\memory".........please help me out.......& i checked my ram it was fine no errors on it(checked it with memtest86).................. the game was fine until the new patch 1.5 came...........

    Have you tried uninstalling (rebooting) and then reinstalling? May be some of the main files might have been corrupt in the upgrade? Also before you reinstall check that all the files within the folder have been removed as well.

    OH, and make sure you FIND and backup your saved game file.. I used to forget and have to start a game from scratch whenever I had a problem.

    And yes, this seems to be fix for everything I do! ;););)
