Extending wireless signal

sooo.. i just got my computer up and running in the other side of my house but the problem is my wireless dosnt reach over there at all. I have the weakest signal when i can connect and it dosnt even let you go anywhere because its so slow. Any suggestions on how to extend the signal? any products that help?

    It's called a range expander or a wireless repeater.

    If you are getting a weak signal then you may be able to boost it enough by getting a higher dB gain antenna for your router. They usually run about $30 - $60 depending on what kind of router you have and how much of a boost in signal you need.

    i do have one actually and i just got a new wireless adapter so its 802.11g not b but no difference at all. i know that phones can interfere but is that so even if no one is on the phone?
