What is "Liquid Motion" ?

Yeah I'm down to the last thing I can think of stripping for my DAW. Anyway, I'd like to know if anyone can tell me what these files are:

LMTREND.DLL
&
LMRT.DLL

Both refer to "Liquid Motion" and have some connection with Bvr.1 files which are in the Registry Root key:
ActorBvr.ActorBvr.1
ColorBvr.ColorBvr.1
EffectBvr.EffectBvr.1
MoveBvr.MoveBvr.1
etc.

Basically I can't deduce whether these are internet type files, or core system files or what.

They are in win98SE default setup. I can't say if they're in XP.

Anyone out there know?

Thanks!!

Microsoft's Liquid Motion was an attempt to create a software package that would let web developers create web multimedia and animations for use anywhere.
Liquid Motion has been designed to make it easy for anyone to create animations. Novice users will be creating animations in minutes, and Web professionals will find they can create animations in much less time. In addition, Liquid Motion-based animations are easy to view because they run on all popular browsers and don't require the user to download and install a separate plug-in.

MS discontinued it because support was lacking and it wasn't pulling any attention away from MacroMedia's Flash program.

AFAIK, since IE 5.0, Liquid Motion's runtime files have been installed and supported by default. Since IE 5.0 and up are included with Win98SE, that's why you have those files. :)

Are they safe to delete? Probably not. IE would probably bitch at you that it can't find some files and end up not working right.

Best way to find out is to back them up, delete the originals, and see if you have any problems.
