Virus invading my computer
My norton virusscan on access gave me a pop up message a few days ago with this file saying that it couldn't delete it or move it or clean it. It says:C:\Documents and settings\Chaaban's\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Contents.IE5\QEERP39R\gnida[1].swf
Virus name: Downloader
Now I had found a thread that described the exact same problem but it expired before I could finish the steps to getting rid of the virus. I've already dowloaded HiJackThis and this is what pops up in my notepad once I've done the "system scan & save a logfile":

Once again thank alot for the help!
Some important steps still remains:
Update your Windows! You don't have Service Pack 2 for Windows XP installed, which is a CRITICAL part of keeping your system protected. Without the Service Pack 2, your system is vulnerable and wide open to re-infection. I advice you visit the Windows Update Site immediately.
Second, your log doesn't show a firewall running.
If you do not have a software Firewall on your computer, please download one of the following - they are Free!.
Comodo
Zone Alarm
Sunbelt Kerio PF
Outpost Firewall
Firewalls provide protection against outside attackers by shielding your computer or network from malicious or unnecessary Internet traffic.
We do not recommend using Microsoft's built-in Firewall in XP SP2 as it only blocks incoming traffic and not outgoing. This means that any malware on your computer is free to "phone home" for more instructions. Simply put, Windows XP contains a mediocre firewall. This firewall is NO replacement for a dedicated software solution. Remember to use only one firewall at any time.
After all that, please post a fresh HijackThis log.
Please let me know if you don't need any more assistance. I'm still waiting your reply.
If it has been 10 days or more since your last post, and the helper assisting you posted a response to that post to which you did not reply, this topic will not be reopened.
