If you need troops, post WHO is attacking, a link to their profile, how many troops you expect, and what defenses, if any, you have!

ALSO, troops eat a lot of wheat! If you need imports of wheat, let us know that, too. It's not polite to let your guests starve.

Attacked by the same guy for the second time in 15 minutes.
He's about the same population as me, but sent a 100 strong army of macemen. Just sent some resource away to Keebler, the rest hidden in the cranny.
As he's not alligned to any alliance so I'd rather have a surprise waiting for him next time round !

    No, his "friend" is in Myth, and claims he will be joining soon. This is dangerous enough without attacking him directly.

    Haha :D This is dangerous territory then. What kind of Ethos do Myth use? Do they only engage with big fish or do they endorse attacking villages with small populations?

    Hmm, are you sure with the cavalry there they'll be enough to fend off the attackers? Not much point sending wheat if they're going to get through the defences anyway >.<

    If the guy had any sense, he'd send a scouting force fisrt to a village you want to start attacking. Don't assume 100 macemen is all he's got.

    Apologize and ask him to stop attacking, or my reinforcements are being withdrawn. This is ludicrous.

    Keebs has been extremely generous to us all, he's going out on a limb to stop you from getting your village erased. Do everything you can to make peace with large forces and save keebs the trouble of babysitting us all :tongue: Pick on people your own size ;)

    Hey ! He started the aggression.

    Because I didn't answer his message within 2 mins of getting it he launched a 2 stage attack on me.

    I have offered a NAP in an attempt to appease him.
    Lets see what happens

    and yes, Keebs has been great helping out

    Of course he started the aggression. HE'S BIGGER than you.

    This isn't about "who's in the right", it's about "who's going to get smeared on the windshield when Keebler withdraws". Why would he want an NAP when he can destroy you?

    Say a dangerous dog approaches you, and you are unarmed. Do you:

    1) Back away slowly, soothing it

    2) Run at it screaming because he started it?

    Doesn't matter who started it, if it's gunna get you flattened I don't even see another option :tongue:

    If he doesn't accept the NAP, offer a regular tribute or something.

    Not to be harsh or to gang up on you, but it's advice you pretty much need, or you're going to be in alot of trouble in the future xD It's friendly advice, message being be VERY careful about who you **** off on Travian :D

    Another option... Apologize and then have one of the leaders in the alliance message him and apologize for the problems. We can claim that we have "talked" to you. ;)

    I've already messaged him saying I instructed him to apologize. I'm afraid we previously sparred verbally, so I refrained from apologizing personally, but I made clear my dissatisfaction with the situation.

    Matt, all your horsies and troops (bar a few) are safely on there way home.

    and 3k of wheat in transit as my warehouse is at capacity (5000) and I have a couple of thousand coming in thru the night.

    Thanks for your support even though it was an aggresive bluff on his behalf
