i have a malware problem help asap....

hello my names joe.

i believe i have some kind of malicious software on my computer.
i was on my internet on friday and i was just talking to a few people on a chat site www.teenchat.com and was talking to a few people over msn after i was finished i was on my desktop and all my shortcuts/files/ moved to the other side of the screen. i dont know if that would make a difference to what i am about to explain.

i then went to my homepage google and i typed in facebook and the link redirected me to another site. i then tried accessing other sites and same problem. i did a hijackthis log and i tried to download some anti-malware software that i was told in another forum this would not work as i am running windows vista.

after i tried all this i did one last search on google and the redirecting links had gone but when i try access websites through Internet explorer it takes ages to load and says at the bottom of the screen some ad page is loading.
eventually the website loads that i was trying to get to instead of the ad page.

i run norton anitvirus 2006 with all live updates and a full system scan showed up all clear. but in the past have had tracking cookies.

i dont know what is wrong but i would really like an opinion of what i should do.
will the redirecting links come back?
do i have something malicious on my computer?
i will post the hijackthis log that i have done and i have already saved the program in its own folder.

any help would be much appreciated!

Let's see if this works on Vista.

Please download FixWareout to your Desktop

To run the program, right-click the Fixwareout icon and select "Run as administrator".

Click Next, then Install, make sure "Run fixit" is checked and click Finish.

The fix will begin; follow the prompts. If your firewall gives an alert, (because this tool will download an additional file from the internet), please don't let your firewall block it, but allow it instead.
Then you will be asked to reboot your computer; please do so. Your system may take longer than usual to load; this is normal.
Once the desktop loads please post the text that will open (report.txt) and a new Hijackthis log.

Yes there is, let's start with Blacklight.

Please download F-Secure Blacklight (fsbl.exe) and save to your C:\ drive.
    • Open a command window by going to Start > Run and typing: cmd
    • Copy/paste or type the following in the command window: C:\fsbl.exe /expert
    • Hit "Enter" to start the program and then close the cmd box.
    • Accept the user agreement and click "Next".
    • Click "Scan".
    • After the scan is complete, click "Next", then "Exit".
    • BlackLight will create a log in C:\ drive named "fsbl-xxxxxxx.log" (the xxxxxxx will be the date and time of the scan).
    • The log will have a list of all items found. Do not choose to rename any yet!
I want to see the log first because legitimate items can also be present...like "wbemtest.exe" and "tcptest.exe.
    • Exit Blacklight and post the contents of the log in your next reply.

That's weird. You should be able to save the Kasperky log file on Vista. Can you please try again?

Also I need to see the OTMoveIt log. Please post it.

Do a system scan with HijackThis, and check the boxes next to all the entries listed below

    O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [dmzwy.tmp] C:\Windows\system32\dmzwy.tmp
    O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [dmnly.tmp] C:\Windows\system32\dmnly.tmp
    O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [dmvvz.tmp] C:\Windows\system32\dmvvz.tmp
    O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [dmvqs.tmp] C:\Windows\system32\dmvqs.tmp

Close all windows other than HiJackThis, then click Fix Checked. Close HiJackThis.
