bad pc problem

help me i accidentally deleted the services.exe from the system32 folder
and now i cant even boot up my pc it just goes to a black screen even on safe mode
can i maybe take the services.exe file from another pc that runs the same os and copy it to the hdd of the messed up pc?
i really dont want to restart my pc please help!!!:(

    If you can't even get to safe mode then there's nothing you can do in that sense, but I'd reccomend putting the Windows Repair disk in and reinstlaling the OS, don't reformat though as you'll lose everything (unless you want to :tongue:). A windows repair will reinstall the OS without removing your files, it reset your display settings and things like that, but your files stay unharmed :)

    What version of Windows are you using and do you have an actual CD for that version of windows?

    i put the hdd in my other pc and put the file back but now i have a new problem check other thread titled " Unmountable_Boot_Volume "

    Did you put the drive back in its original computer? Or are you getting this error in on the alternate machine?
