NOTE: To understand what is going on here, you should first read the topic "SM Recommended Utilities" in the Short-Media Pub!

http://short-media.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=701

The SM Recommended Utilities topics for this week are:

1) Defrag Programs

2) Registry Cleaner

3) MP3 Player

Please recommend up to three programs in each category using the following format:

$ - <Name Of Program> - for programs you would pay for.
F/S - <Name Of Program> - for freeware/shareware programs
XXX - <Name Of Program> - for programs you wouldn't use if they paid you.

As an example, here are my recommended programs:

Defrag:
$ Norton Speed Disc
F/S Disckeeper Lite
XXX No Choice

Registry Cleaner:
$ No Choice
F/S NBG Clean Registry
XXX No Choice

MP3 Player
$ MusicMatch Jukebox
F/S Winamp
XXX RealOne Player

Any additional comments you want to add are welcome, but please make your recommendations obvious enough so I don't miss them - I want your input to be included in what will eventually become a master list of our members favorites.

Prof:thumbsup:

(This weeks categories will remain open for one week)

    This weeks topics will be closing tomorrow. We will have three new areas to discuss then.

    Make your opinion known about mp3 players, defrag programs, and registry cleaners while you still can!
