No where near ya'll.. Help w/ stratagy...
OK, I'm realizing I'm gonna have to move eventually..
I'm nowhere near anyone in {IC}...
Should I build up as much of a resource stockpile, one embassy, and move as fast as possible?
..or should I build up this town as large as possible and move only when attacked, or threatened?

just build up a residence to level 10 so you can make settlers, to make a new village (a residence, not a palace, you can only have 1 palace and you'll want it elsewhere)
try not to stockpile too much, you'll become a target for farming, but build up resource fields as much as possible.
Waiting for resources to build embassy (need 15 more wood..) Should be 30 mins or so..
After I build embassy, can I/should I ship out excess wheat to someone?
Orders received, carring out orders...
we don't want other people raiding all our contributions away from you...
Game is limiting my next building to an embassy... crannies will follow...
When I create a new village I always try to get my main building to level 10, and my warehouse and granary to hold about 10k before I do any major construction like making a level 10 residence. I don't know if that's a good strategy or not, but it works for me.
I sent you a bit of each resource btw, they should be there in about an hour and a half. If you want to see when incoming resources will arrive, you just need to get a level 1 marketplace.
BTW: Renamed my village, new name is Amandara
1) Build up your Warehouse and Granary like AlphaTrinity said.
2) Build up a handful of crannies to level 10.
3) Build a residence to level 10.
4) Build up your resource fields.
5) Hopefully soon you'll have enough culture points to found a new village and having all those crannies will help you keep your resources when you're raided (which you will be once the 3-day grace-period is over).
to level 10, then you can make more.
..upgrading cranny to lvl 2
tip: cover your warehouse limit for now, until you're much bigger
Aye, 2 hours- sent anyway
Thanks, got them..
Got my Warehouse & Grainery up to L2
1st Cranny is working on L3
Getting low on Iron, gonna upgrade Iron Mining next
Amandara
41 ppl
No troops
Warehouse: L2
Grainery: L2
Cranny1: L4
Embassy: L1
Main Building: L1
Wood @ 72 hr
Clay @ 72 hr
Iron @ 72 hr
Wheat @ 31 hr
Max storage 1700 for all
Short on Iron and Clay (again) - waiting to replenish...
thats far too small production...
and put the main building up a few levels, it makes things go much faster
Need more resources - Clay and Iron are in the low double digits...
Edit: 1500 wood, 800 clay, 1500 iron in less than an hour
Thankee, kindly...
Keep asking for supplies until you are making a good amount of your own, you'll need the boost at the beginning.
Thanks
Just built a marketplace, what should I build next?
Not sure how much effort I should put into this village, since its so far from the rest of {IC}
What should I work on then?
Need a settler to get to the {IC} area, correct?
Personally, I work exclusively on resource development as long as possible (including the booster buildings) then get the military infrastructure (barracks, academy, armoury, blacksmith) then market / residence / hero's mansion. It sounds like you're skipping the military part, so concentrate on getting your settlers and the ability to supply your new village. I wouldn't build the settlers until you'll be able to complete them all at once in the span of a day or two.
Haven't had the option to build barracks, academy, armory, etc. yet... Am I missing a building? Need to level up certain ones?
will start now...
Could use some supplies to keep buildings/upgrades coming fast as possible...
Get the level of the main building up that'll enable a few
Main Building is L5, needs to be higher?
you can only build it in one of the spaces around the centre of your village
