I IGM'd this guy about 4 days before he attacked me, asking him to not attack me since I knew he was considering it- he didn't reply and he then came back later and attacked me making away with a couple hundred thousand resources and killing about 1000 troops. **** this. Have fun guys.

    But he took all my resources, killed everything and I didn't ask him to stop, I asked him to not do it in the first place before he'd even attacked me.

    There is the remote chance that it was your message that led him to you. :( When you advance IGM a neighbour, it might be a better route to say "hey man, you seem to be a solid player and we have had no problems to date. I feel it's time I reached out and told you that I have your back if you have mine......."

    Try that method instead when you're looking to preempt possible enemies.

    His village is touching mine and he's in Myth C- I doubt it was the message that made him attack me.

    I will say, I sent a message to a neighboring Zero member and he was like, "yeah, I got your back". Cool. :cool:

    He thinks this is strategy? I'd like to play him on Total war... That's REAL warfare strategy... He'd not stand a chance.

    I like most of the Zero folk. They seem to be upstanding fellows. They play to win without being mean. Myth seems to have a ton of asshats... I hope Zero and Myth have a falling out and Zero wipes them out. :)

    He's just looking to unleash the fury that he's built. Unfortunately, we started too late and a lot of players are just too damn big to compete with. Have to be in from the start to keep pace.

    I agree, Zero are very reasonable, Myth just seem to be a load of insecure people that are angry at the world and take it out on pixels while they try to be the badass gangster online that they could never be irl. That's right, he's a merciless slaughterer of pixels. Be afraid.

    He got nothing this time, and he's attacknig with 769 cavalry and 1 hero... I've messaged him again but I doubt the bastard will stop.

    Can you stop attacking me, please? I've already send you an IGM before these attacks even started asking for peace between our nations, but it appears that the message was lost in the post. I would very much appreciate it if you stopped these attacks, after all- we would both benefit from cooperation.
    Peace just a joke in this game in fact...But I have received the letter you mentioned. Maybe I could stop my attacking. I think that you need more troop to protect your village. And stay together with your friends is a good idea just like your new village.
    Thank you, this is very reasonable and merciful of you :) I was actually just starting to train an army for another issue our Alliance is dealing with. Haven was my first city, and therefore I had no choice as to where it was put. Solstice is at our "powerbase" but thanks to godsend that's now practically deserted. Thank you again and I will tell my alliance of your mercy :)

    Pull yourself together. Build up a Residence and get settlers to the outpost. He didn't even catapult you :p

    You can complain about the unfairness of Travian to me after you lose 3 villages in 48 hours! ;D

    If I had 7 that wouldn't be as catastrophic as that sounds to someone that had 3 :tongue: He's stopping, so I cancelled the delete- but it's goddamn annoying that when you ask someone in advance to not attack you, they don't even do you the courtesy of replying he just nukes you for all the resources you have >.>

    I have a village at the outpost. Resolve. I'm just annoyed at the amount of time being attacked wastes. Especially for no good reason :(

    To me nothing's "chugging" until it is leveled up to 10 on every resource :D Better start spending... I can send resources faster than you can spend them. :ninja:

    Yeah... this game is loosing it's luster quickly. Unless you started within the first week of the server restart, you're way behind. There is no way any of us can even fathom the power one of the top 100 users wield let alone the top 10 alliances.... :(

    I'm sticking with it but I'm not sure if I'll be as gun-ho about it. There are some nice people out there and some real jerks.

    The problem is, if you start from the beginning then you'll feel the need to carry on because you have that advantage. I'm gunna try to quit when it restarts :S

    I was that way when I lost the village at the powerbase. We'll see where this goes but regardless, when the server restarts, going teuton and am going to kicks godsends ass.

    It surprises me how excited people seem about Travian, but after some struggles, those same people are ready to throw in the towel. Look, we got into this game a bit late. Look on this as training. I'm playing on both the UK and US server. Everytime I've built a village I've done it differently because I've learned from my previous attempts. The more I play this round, the more prepared I'll be next round. Do you think the "big dogs" in Travian started day 1? Yep. Do you think it was the first time they played? I doubt it. Quitting now is not smart, IMO, unless you're not going to play when the game starts over.
