Transferring Huge Files

Looking for options/recommendations for moving large (5-30GB) files to clients. It's mostly freelance video work, so the receivers are somewhat tech savvy. Outside of splitting into pieces with winrar and hosting it on an ftp, are there any other methods anyone has used?

Also, it should be assumed that it can be accessed whenever. As in, not some p2p connection that both sides have to initiate/confirm.

That would be no faster than a FTP server on a good backbone really.

Nolf, do you have access (physically, so you wouldn't have to upload) to a server on a good outbound connection?

A secure (SFTP) site is still the most reliable way to go, despite the slight initial setup headaches.

I setup a little ftp server a few years ago, but just piggybacked off the home broadband connection. So in short, not really. The speed wouldn't be too fantastic.

Prime, is your suggestion much different? Cause it would still be dependent upon my UL rate correct?

Your UL rate will be the limiting factor in anything you do.
