HELP...my website has a porn site attached to it!!!

Ok..I have a very interesting situation here and would like to get it rectified ASAP. I have been building my website www.beach-wedding-ideas.com for about a year now off and on. I left it for a few months to move across the country. Since I have been working on it again as of late I noticed something a tad bit peculiar and after checking it out further am getting quite frustrated. Somehow a website has attached itself to the beginning of the title of EVERY page in my website. At first I thought it was due to some directory I had submitted my site to but after a bit of research the past few days have come to realize it is actually A PORN SITE! Yes, I too laughed at first, then became very aggrevated because every site that has linked back to me now has it on their site and when you look up the indexed pages on any search engine it has the url before my title EVERY TIME! So you can now imagine my horrendous frsutration and NEED to get it off there. If anyone can PLEASE help me i would be forever in your debt.

So when you look at the title it reads like this banedup.com-beach wedding ideas.com. If youpunch in my website URL in the google search box instead of the URL box you will see what I mean when the listings come up. How can this BE???

When I went looking to see what this baned up thing was...I kept getting a porn site to my horror.
THANK YOU IN ADVANCE.

You have spyware locally on your computer. What you're reporting does not happen on any of the links on your site. Someone will be along to help you out shortly.

    Hello Jen,

I am not seeing anything like what you are talking about. Your site works just fine and shows up in Google as well.

how do I get rid of it though? Are you guys seeing on your computer what I see on mine when I punch in my website in the google search box? When you punch in the actual site it doesn't show it but in the listings it does. And when I check my google stats to see which of my pages are indexed it shows up there also in the titles.

Nothing like that is appearing for me...you have spyware/malware on your PC most likely.

hmmm...so you are telling me when you punch in www.beach-wedding-ideas.com in the google search box NOT the URL box that when the listings come up you do not see baned-up.com in front of beac-wedding-ideas? How would spyware attach itself to the TITLE of the pages on my website?

    Because your browser is hijacked.

if you use a friend's computer, do you get to the proper site by typing in the address?

Eweeee, hijaked...crikey. Ok, I just did an ad-aware scan and cleared the problems there. And am about to do a Norton scan. Will this solve the problem you think? When a friend punched it in on his computer in the search box the listing came up with baned-up.com in front of the title as well.

Hello Jen. Apologies for the long delay in response. Is the computer doing any better now?

If you still need assistance, please post a fresh HijackThis log. Read here.

I am waiting for Google to crawl it and update my site to see how it is being displayed. Some of the indexed pages still say it in the title and some don't...
