Hey I recently just got some new ram for my computer 2 GBS dual channel PC3200 SDDDR Ram because thats what my mobo supports. But I can still put in 2 more gigs if I wanting, the limit is I think 4 GB's of ram.

What are the pros and cons to more ram? Is 2 enough? Why not 4 just for the hell of it. Lol

-Some systems will drop the memory to much lower speeds when 4 modules are installed and any performance gained from 2GB to 4GB will be negated.

-If you run a 32-bit OS you will have access to ~3.25 of your 4GB. (There are some exceptions here, but I doubt they apply)

These things having been said, throw it in there and see what happens. Worst case scenario is your box won't boot. Run before/after tests, use your BIOS and CPU-Z to check frequencies, etc...
