Malware and Antispyware Pop-ups

I have been getting popups telling me that my computer is infected and that I should download MalwareAlarm or Antispywaresuite. Whether I click cancel or close the window by clicking on the x at the top right corner, a window opens up and either does a fake scan of my computer or asks me to download the MalwareAlarm or Antispywaresuite software. I have run AdAware, SmitfraudFix and run McaFee but still get many pop-ups but mostly what I mentioned above. HELP! :D please

I downloaded Combofix.exe based a fix from another thread with the same issue. I also have HiJack this.

Ah Provotech, you really are sorta doing just about everything the wrong way here. Posting in someone else's thread, not reading the stickies like the necessary one here, bumping your own request (so it looks like it has received a response), and now looks like you have started to run your own repairs, without knowing what things like ComboFix might do to your system. Usually volunteers like myself find stepping in after someone has made their own unknown changes one of the more difficult tasks to do.

Since you indicate you did run a ComboFix scan, go ahead and post the C:\ComboFix.txt log for now, and let's see what is there from that. Not a new one please, just the last one you did.

Since we need something more current download HijackThis from Here. Then click on the downloaded file to install HijackThis. After it is installed open HijackThis and select Do a system scan and save logfile. Use copy/paste and post that log back here for review.

Use separate posts here if needed.

gee Thanks for the warm welcome. If you, Thomas, were paying more attention to what I said and less to what I did wrong...... lol you would have seen that I said I downloaded but did not say I ran Combofix.exe. Which I have not. I will study the link to the "sticky" which I missed and I don't get into techy forums often (lucky me because I have kept my system fairly clean). But thanks for pointing that out. If you want to try to help...great but don't talk down to me. Volunteer or not I don't need help with an attitude attached. This could and should be fun. I'm here to learn.

I have used Spyboy S&D and have found that AdAware LE removes anything that it detected. I try to keep my software installed to a minimum. I am not familiar with ATF cleaner and will research that program. I did update my HiJack this and thanks for the link to that.
