Networking XP and Vista on Mshome

Ok, I'm working with my Sister-In-Laws computer and I'm trying to get Vista which is on it to communicate with my laptop which has XP on it. So I can share my printer wirelessly to it.

I installed an update from Microsoft on my laptop that made it so I can see her laptop on the network but on her computer she can't see mine. :(

I dont know how to do this its a painful confusing mess.

    One thing to try from the Vista laptop:

    Control Panel-->Network and Sharing-->

    Turn on Network Discovery
    Turn on File Sharing
    Turn OFF Password Protected Sharing
    Turn on Printer Sharing
    (maybe) Turn on Media Sharing (could be useful for unrelated reasons)
