Firefox won't work right.

A few days ago, I couldn't search on Google. It didn't give me any errors it just wouldn't load the page and stayed on the Google homepage with the load bar in the corner staying still.

I've reinstalled Firefox because it's getting hard not having Google. Now I have done a few searches on Google and it is fine, I've also spent the entire day waiting for a virus scan to finish on safe mode which delete a few viruses.

I still have a problem though, I cannot access some pages, or upload videos to YouTube which is annoying since I have one to upload at the moment. I've tried in other browsers and it works fine, but I want it to work in Firefox like it should.

Help?

Use a program called Mozbackup to back up your addons/themes/favorites/settings. Then uninstall Firefox. Once that's done, delete the following folder:

    C:\Documents and Settings\YOURWINDOWSLOGINNAME\Application Data\Mozilla

    Reinstall firefox.

Sounds more like your computer is still messed up from some viruses. Go to the security thread and post a hijackthis log if you haven't already.

Definitely looks like you have something. You're going to need to wait for a spyware expert, unfortunately. Other option is to backup and wipe. :-/

I've done a spy ware scan, still no change, works fine in safe mode though.

A few days ago it started working again, but it has suddenly stopped again this morning, I have not installed any new programs or downloaded any files, if anything I've removed things.

The only thing that I don't recognize as being safe are these two lines:

    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [b406bab8] rundll32.exe "C:\WINDOWS\system32\pynnnluu.dll",b
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [BMb7358924] Rundll32.exe "C:\WINDOWS\system32\ikqfhmab.dll",s

Doesn't mean they are harmful. I just don't know what they are. They are likely safe but they could be corrupt (not virus, just messed up).

Have you tried. Clearing all your temp files by deleting your cache and cookies?
I'd also suggest installing google toolbar (toolbar.google.com) into any browsers you are using. Lastly try changing your DNS servers to 4.2.2.1 and 4.2.2.2 and see if that helps.
