New Wing?

I understand that the {IC} alliance is nearly full. Recently I talked to a co-worker and got him into Travian. Not only did he start playing, but he went onto his own forums (some final fantasy guild forum) and got 16 others to join him. Those 16 are now in an alliance that he made. I was wondering if it would be possible to make his alliance a wing for {IC}, or something. Naturally his alliance would have to be renamed, and you may want to wait until all his members get 300-400 pop, but I thought I would throw the idea out there anyway.
Just so you are aware, he now has 21 people who created accounts off his reference link. I have my doubts as to how many of them have the patience to get a population over 400 and stay active, but we will see.

    My initial reaction would be to say they are more than welcome to join our alliance (we have room for them), but I don't think a "wing" is in our future. It's hard enough to coordinate within one alliance. I'm happy to ally with them if they want to stay on their own.

    Are they all in the NE?

    Middge, whats the name of his alliance? Just in case of any of us see them and decide to start farming - not a good way of inviting them in is it lol :P

    {F} is the name of their alliance. Would you be able to fit 16-25 more members in this alliance keebler? Provided they all get a ~350 population?

    We can handle 57 right now and 60 is not hard to open up. So, we're at 43... That's 17 folks. I would be open to having some of them join us. I'd still need to review them though.

    Best bet, they stay in their alliance until they are ready to join us. I'd be fine with allying with them until most of them are in our alliance.

    a wing would be pretty cool IMO. even if we fill them into ours, we would still need a wing for more slots. just have them all use this forum and well be cool

    I told them the details. And they pretty much agree that an alliance, or at least a NAP with them until they filter out those who are in this for good and those who lose interest would be awesome. Should I show them to this forum?

    Ok. So what shall I do? Just tell them to make a NAP with us in their profile? I was hoping they could have at least minor protection from us (even if just by name) so they can get a decent population.

    if you tell them to send an alliance invite, then we'll be tied by the FF rule, we can't attack them or else, and also we can help them out as official allies when they're in trouble.
    also, i don't think a wing is a good idea. they tend to bring the smaller alliances down due to bad communication, and are only effective for very experienced groups such as MyTh and Zero.
    However, bad comms even brought Zero some despair, so no wings for {IC}. Stick with an elite 60.

    Ok, well most of their populations are at ~300 now. They are ready to join if you guys will allow it.

    Yes. If they are given access to these forums they will. They have their own forums now, so I know they are capable.
