Reinforcement/Attack coordination training
I've been thinking that we should run some coordination drills aimed at being able to reinforce or attack a target at a set time(s). I would like to set a day soon in the future in which 3-4 time deadlines will be established, say in 6 hr intervals. This will give us practice towards the ability of reinforcing or attacking somebody at the same time, as in arriving right down to the second.
The only problem in doing this without it getting confusing is for everybody to change their time zone setting to UTC +0 with the 24 hour clock. We would all have to have the same time showing or it won't work out.
TF1 would be the target of this exercise and will be setup to have everybody send one of their slowest infantry troop to reinforce at say, 06:00 hrs - 12:00 hrs - 18:00 hrs & 00:00 hrs on April XX.
I think this would be very beneficial to us all in the late stages of this game in order to maximize the effectiveness of our strategies allowing us to attack and defend one another in unison.
If we are in agreement with this test then I will set a day and prepare a MM to start the ball rolling on this exercise.
Input and suggestions are appreciated.

Good idea...
Exactly, this will be exercise #2.
correct?
Yup, 21:19 here.
and im currently on GMT and it will mess me up to change.
Think we only have to send one as it is a practise run only.
Yes, one single unit of your slowest infantry. No calvary, rams or catapults.
I would imagine it could happen this Thursday.
or B. use AIM like me and uncle Q. ive been saying this since i joined - we need INSTANT communication.
So I stopped using it.
tttoommm,
IRC means Internet Relay Chat, which we have a private channel for IC Travian on MIRC. mirc.com/
AIM is AOL Instant Messenger which is another chat program...aim.com
If we are going to use a messaging program.
I would vote for IRC being we have a channel set up for it already.
And we can monitor who is joining the room.
Not to mention I already have Teamspeak and MIRC loaded on my pc and would prefer not putting more programs on my hard drive.
It's a small 36G WD Raptor.
I try to keep at least 5-6 Gig open for smooth running.
This training exercise will be done through MM, as like this forum, I know quite a few people will not register for our channel and so will be none the wiser to this test. Hopefully we can get a good showing, participation wise.

Everyone please set your in-game clocks to UK time.
If you can tell me how to get into the IRC Keebler I will join you now
Click connect on the first window that pops up. That connects you to rizon.
Then click the little heart/ (third button in on top). (Favorites button)
Scroll down until you see (#ictravian) highlight it and click join.
I did that and said hello a while ago, but as far as I can see nobody else is there
plus.. ictravian is not in the list that I get?! (but, as I said I typed it in)
Yes, I'm in there now.
I go in and out at times.
You type in ictravian for the IC travian page which is monitored for unfriendly s and you can type icrontic for the main forum.
You can have multiple channels open at the same time.
I'm on both at the moment.

THEN typed ictravian in the heart box!
and I can now see people, but I can't read what they say, or they've just not said anything yet!
EDIT: Now we're cooking!
