Hi all!

Using Windows Vista Home Premium SP1 and for some reason it is going to sleep mode automatically at various times.

Hard Drive = 120GB
RAM = 1.00GB
32-bit OS
Processor = AMD Turion 1.60GHz

Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated!

Stephen

    The monitor is sleeping or the actual PC?

    Hey, sorry for late reply.

    It's the whole laptop that is going to sleep mode.

    How far into the power options have you drilled? Are the power options set to sleep after XX minutes? If you could post a screen shot of all your power options expanded so we can see the settings that would be useful.

    This is not common or a known issue I'm aware of, if that's what you were looking to verify.

    I have looked into the power options and can't seem to find anything that would be causing it.

    Heres a link to a screenshot;

    Click on "Change advanced power settings", the culprit is in there ;).

    Well I looked through the Advanced and made a few tweaks and it seems to have worked so far!

    Thanks for your help! :smiles:
