Ok, as some of you have seen I'm trying to sell my main rig http://icrontic.com/forum/showthread.php?t=70798
to get a decent laptop. I'm pretty much looking for something that can run TF2 and maybe some BF2. I'm looking to spend around 900-1200 so i will have a bit to spend. I was looking at some Asus notebooks on newegg and saw a couple nice ones.

this one is nice, in my budget and has what I'm looking for; 3gb ram, big hdd, over 2.0ghz cpu, hd3650 gpu.

Also, i found this one, which is on the high end of my budget
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834220308
has a 2.4ghz cpu and 4gb of memory, 9500gs gpu

So is the extra 200 bucks justified? It seems like 4gb of memory in a 32bit craptop is overkill. Which graphics card is better performance/temp wise?

Thanks for any comments.

I don't quite have the answers you're looking for, but I wanted to make sure you didn't forget to check out powernotebooks.com for some deals.

I'd imagine Tom's Hardware would have a rundown of your mobile GPU lineup.

Edit: 32-bit XP doesn't recognize 4 gigs of ram, meaning you'd have to use 64-bit or Vista. The later of which would obviously impede your ability to run games.
