Can YOU run it?

I stumbled across this nifty tool today: http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/referrer/srtest

You simply select which game to test from the drop-down bar at the top of the list and click the blue "Can You Run It" button. After a while, and (on Vista) quite a few "allow" interruptions, it will start calculating, gathering information about your computer. It will then display your result on a scale of "Fail", which means you computer will have big problems running the game, "Minimum", which means that if you pur graphics down to a minimum, you could run it, and "Recommended", which means you computer should have no problems running the game.

A fairly good tool for those of you who don't know what hardware you have, or are in doubt. Test before you buy, and you wont get dissappointed.

I blow away the COD4 recommended, but I run it just below max to keep gfx lag down, and i BARELY meet minimum for AC, but IDC because ive got it on 360.

I love sysreqlab. That site always boosts my confidence when it tells me my system is good to go for anything. ;)

Seriously tho, it's a great tool for when I'm trying to help friends over the phone/internet about upgrading components for gaming. They can see where their weak points are, and we can move to recommendations from there.

yes.. it is in the gameplay and not for the graphics after all. as long as you have the major visuals.
