Trillian Pro 2 Problem

Why would people on my buddylist not show up as online, when i know for a fact that they are?

Any thoughts?

    Maybe they have an option enable that doesn't let people that aren't on their contact list, to view their connection status.

    That's what I thought too, but its mostly recent additions and its several who aren't computer adept enough to find that type of setting. I just deleted about 20 people thinking that it might be a limit on the number of buddies, still no dice...

    is it possible you've aggravated them and they've blocked you? just a thought

    When this has happened to me I just have them IM me and it suddenly sees them online. Or if it doesn't I just re add them once they IM me. That seems to do the trick.
