plz help with this usb error !

i just bought the new 22" viewsonic lcd with ipod docking station and now when i connect the ipod to the dock .. the computer says it can not recognize the device .. while if i connect my ipod with the supplied cable it works fine .. plz help me regarding this ..

have installed all the needed drivers and even updated the bios !


my sys specs ..

AMD 64X2 5200+
Asus M2N32 Sli Deluxe
4GB Corsair 667Mhz
Cooler Master 500W Real power
Nvidia 7900GTX 512MB
250GB Seagate
Viewsonic VX2245WM

    I have the VX2255wmb which came with a webcam, I had the same until I realised that there was an extra cable for the webcam :tongue: Have you plugged in all the cables or am I barking up the wrong tree?

    ya have plugged all the cables .. and installed the necessary drivers .. the memory card reader and other slots are working fine .. its just tht the whenever i put the ipod on dock .. it says device not recognized .. !!

    Are you on the admin account for that computer? We experienced problems with it when on a different account
