Possible to SAVE Reg Codes/Keys Before Wipe Clean???

Hello,

I posted a problem I was having with my laptop starting windows. I still have the problem but was wondering if its possible to save some of my important programs.

If I use Knoppix, it allows me to see all files and folders on my HD. Is there a way I can copy a certain file/folder that will save the registration codes/keys.

    Hello,you can run Belarc.com there advisor this will give you some of your keys for software and your windows key.You can copy n paste the results to note pad and put to USB flash/floppy or a disk.

    Some software download sites that you are registered with will have a copy of your keys of the software they have.Cyberlink I know does have a list of a persons keys just login to retrive them.

    Yes it is poosible to save some of your keys.
