We're still alive and kicking, people.

#ictravian is located on the Rizon network.

If you can't get on, post here and we'll get you on.

{EDIT by Q} I made a quick "How-To" on connecting to the IRC channel. Download and install mIRC from HERE then follow the directions HERE.

    Lazy man's guide:

    1. Download mIRC
    2. Click 'Options' It's the thing on the button with a hammer, next to the lightening bolt.
    3. Press the + next to Connect, and press 'Servers'
    4. Press 'Add'
    5. Enter any description, and type 'irc.rizon.net' into the IRC server part.
    6. Press the lightening bolt (connect)
    7. A list should come up, type 'ictravian' into the box
    8. Talk :D

    After a while mIRC asks you to register. DON'T, and just keep pressing 'ok' in the boxes, and they go away..

    Anyone else think that IRC has killed the Forum a bit? Definitely not as active since we started congregating there more!

    Anyone on IRC able to kick me? I can't reconnect -_- crappy web client won't let me. I'm at school so being able to get into IRC here is like curing cancer with a fork and a tin of beans.

    Here's a edited guide since we're now on an Icrontic hosted network instead of Rizon.

    browser thing got me connected through mIRC with no problems at all

    running firefox 3
    to all those that don't have it, i highly recommend it

    Listen, there is an easier way to get into IRC that ANYONE can use. Even at work where the IRC port is blocked.

    STEP 1: Go to http://www.mibbit.com/

    STEP 2:     From there, on the top right of the page in the search field type "ICTRAVIAN"
    without quotations.

    STEP 3: Click the link that comes up labeled "[URL="javascript:void(0)"]mibbit.rizon.net : #ictravian[/URL]"
    It should be the only search result.

    STEP 4: Once you are in the channel, you can change your nickname using the
    "/nick [INSERT NAME HERE]" command, to avoid getting kicked out of the
    channel by a moderator who may think you are a spy. :-D


    This is the easiest way I have ever seen to get into IRC. I recommend it to everyone, even those already using MIRC, as the web browser is much more functional, and less cumbersome.

    Sounds good, except for the the part where we're on Icrontic servers, not rizon.

    Yea, posted that AFTER I found out we moved and NO ONE INFORMED ANYONE.
