Mouse Problem

edited June 2008 in Hardware
I'm finishing a build for my brother (it's a conglomeration of old parts of mine so he can play tf2 and cod4 with me). Everything worked fine (it's a mATX mobo) until I plugged in the video card, now the ps/2 mouse doesn't work, but the keyboard does, any suggestions? Thanks in advanced.

Don't have enough power I figure.

I don't understand how that would work. The same pc (except for hard drive) was the one I used up until two months ago and never had any problems.

No powersupply is made the same. Unclean power, inadequate power, or improperly pH'd capacitors can do alot of damage, fella.

Try another mouse if you don't think I'm right.

I've tried three mice now. Neither ps/2 or usb works. I have a hard time believing, however, that it is a PSU issue though, because the power supply was working just fine two months ago when I Pulled my old hdd out of it for my new system. The only change was putting in a new hdd (identical model actually).

I don't get why that would occur is all.
