My Web Search Infection + a Few others

Hi Peeps,

My girlfriends has been complaining that her laptop has been running slow and that she thinks she had a virus.

I have had a look and found she had no AV or antimalware other than defender and windows firewall.

First off I have run kaspersky online which identified that there were issues. I have installed Avira and spybot. Spy bot picked up a few problems including Adrevolver and My Web Search and a few others. I fixed all infections but two could not be fixed because they were running in memory. Spybot was scheduled to run on reboot and cleaned one of the remaining infections but could nt get rid ofMy web search.

I used hijack this and found the o23 which Identified the problem service. I fixed the O23 Entry, Stopped the service and then manually removed any reg entries relating to My Web Search.

I then restarted the PC and service was removed. I then found the program files on the hard disk and deleted them. Spybot now shows clear so I have installed Adaware and that is showing clean to.

I am going to set another kaspersky scan going tonight to check things out and the PC does seem o be quicker, but I would be grateful if someone could look over my HJT log please.

You all are sorta doing your own repairs there, so can't comment much on any steps/changes you might have chosen or done (and not that you asked). But no infection is showing in this log posted.
