Humourous Templates
I'm thinking of sending the following to my visitor last night.
I also think we should keep any successful ones as templates for further use.
What do you reckon ? Annoy him, amuse him or generally P*** him off ?
Great Lord Palmer of [ONE]L,
It is with deepest regret that I have to inform you a number of your trusty Macemen met with an untimely end whilst visiting my village last night.
It appears that they were somehow diverted from their intended task to the local ale houses managing to drink them dry !
They were last seen on the village road heading home, quite drunk and worse for wear, performing lewd acts to the village ladies as they went. Unfortunately, it appears they took the wrong fork out towards the cliff edge. I imagine by now you’ve seen the consequences.
In future if you could inform me in advance of any visits I can arrange for some local guides to ensure their safety whilst visiting.
On behalf of the village please pass on our condolences to their respective families.

Some people see Travian more as life than a game, so insulting them a bit sometimes doesn't bode so well...
Aint that the truth... And those are the people who tend to be grade A ass-hats. :-(
I've used that same type of tactic last server and luckily got people who did posses a bit of humour.

I'll assume he has no humourous side and store this one away for later use.
From that, and his capital's name... I think he's possibly Glaswegian, and obviously a Rangers fan, so I have one idea, DON'T SAY 'Can ye hear the Rangers sing? Naw!!'
But if they win the league, then there's something to start a conversation on... if you know enough about scottish football...

If they're too dim-witted and/or miserable/uptight to receive something humourous - then is it really gonna matter what you send??
In other words: if they wont laugh with us - let's just laugh at them!
LOL I'm not advocating doing it on purpose - just saying that those kind of people will behave however they behave regardless of what you do, or don't do, so... you may as well do what suits you and have fun
But no, I haven't been attacked by Lord Palmer from ONE, although I was attacked by ONE a while ago; they didn't get anything though

When I get something like that, I say 'for the lulz'
Then if they reply a detailed analysis of why I am not stupid and how with their lack of decent growth that they are in fact the stupid ones. If they have an army that gets killed, I say it's best for me that they don't have an army.
And finish with 'Have a nice day'
Which I do in most of my letters now, instead of signing 'Muffin' as I did last server...
