Virus Prevents me from accessing Antivirus Program

Hi,

I have this virus that's preventing me from opening my McAfee antivirus program. It's technically "Open," but when I try to actually view the Security Center (by double clicking on the icon), it'll open for a split second and shut down immediately.

The same goes for my IE. Whenever I'm on google, and I try to research things on anti-viruses, or viruses, or other things related, My web browser will close immediately.

I tried running Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware scan (found some trojans but didn't solve my problem).

I also tried to install Hijack This, but again, my web browser will shut down as soon as I try to do this.



I'm going to be sitting for the NY State Bar exam in July, and I need my computer fixed ASAP so I can properly install the exam software. Help would be greatly appreciated!

    Hello, and welcome to Icrontic Forums. :)

    First we need to download ComboFix.exe.
    Please visit this webpage for download links, and instructions for running ComboFix

    When the tool is finished, it will produce a report for you. Please copy and paste the "C:\ComboFix.txt" along with a new 'HijackThis' log so that we can continue to do any further cleaning that your system may require.
