Need Help With Rollover Text/Buttons in Fireworks

Hi All,

I'm so new to Web Design I still squeak, but my past Graphics Arts experience is making it a fun, but challenging endevour. Designing a whole new website for my school district is a great way to learn...

I'm trying to figure out how to make mouse rollover text in Fireworks CS3.

I've got 80% figured out, I've got black text over a sand colored background for my base, and I'm using a bright yellow for my rollover color.

My only problem is I cannot figure out how to hide the rollover text color (yellow) from being seen all the time, and when you rollover it, the text box around the letters comes up in white, not the background color.

I feel I'm really close, can anyone help steer me in the right direction?
