I think you can mirror a port to another but I am unsure how to accomplish this. (If you do manage to do this just open ethereal on the machine pluged into the mirrored port)
If you just want to view the header I think you can use the debug command but im not sure.
Your probably better off asking in a forum that has people that work with cisco hardware on a daily basis.
You should also be able to direct the syslog output of the Cisco to a syslog server, this way you can monitor from any workstation you like. Try http://www.kiwisyslog.com/ for syslogging if you want to give it a shot.
