Resource Depot
I've talked with TBonZ about this and he thinks it's a good idea and he wanted me to share it with others so that we can see who all wants to help out or if anyone else would like to do the same thing.
I'm looking for a village that has a 4x4x4x6 layout and has an oasis of each type (well, at least three types as we can only have 3 oases per village) so that the production of the resources can be increased dramatically.
This village MUST be the capital (that might deter some of you from wanting to do this along with me so perhaps you'd be willing to help send resources in an effort to get the Resource Depot underway) so that the resource fields can be developed past level 10. We should be able to attain level 18 for each resource field which will be (without the assistance of oases)
Wood: 28,536 per hour
Clay: 28,536 per hour
Iron: 28,536 per hour
Wheat: 42,804 per hour
Obviously, with a 100% oasis boost (or a 50%) we could produce some serious resources. Couple that with the brickyard/saw mill/iron foundry and we could supply ample resources to the alliance.
If anyone of you would also like to have a Resource Depot for the alliance, then I suggest that one of us have a wood-heavy village, one of us have a clay-heavy village and one of us have an iron-heavy village. If we are fortunate enough to find a village that's heavy on a particular resource AND has 2 (or, miraculously) 3 100% oases for that resource we could train an unbelievably massive army.
I suggest we get the wood/clay/iron resources producing like mad before we attempt to do this with a 15-cropper because that 15-cropper will need considerable wood/clay/iron to build up the fields.
Also, doing this will require gold as the build times will be too long otherwise. If you don't have Gold or are not willing to purchase/spend Gold, then perhaps you can just send resources to help get the village up and running rather than starting your own Resource Depot.
Anyway, I have the resources to train 3 more settlers . . . if anyone knows of a good spot where I can settle down (a 4x4x4x6 with the largest resources possible for wood/clay/iron) please let me know.

Clay village with 3 clay oases
(-226,134)
Iron village with 3 iron oases
(-223,137)
Wood village with 3 wood oases
Result?
In EG's area, that area is packed with all oases, but few croppers.
If you use the plus bonus then the absolute maximum you'd get for each of those is 60k per hour for wood and iron (level 18 fields), and 75k for clay (level 19 fields).
Also, the maximum you could get is 75% oases bonus, so 100% bonus when used with the iron foundry etc, then it'll be 150% with plus.
The plus part is because it does a 25% boost of overall production, not the base value, so it's producing at 200% base value from the oases and factory, and then 25% of that added to it.
So 250%. Lots of res.
If the resource depot is created will it be used for creating an army? if so, if i volunteer my village will i be in control of creating the army? also if an army is created a 15/1/1/1 village with a sufficient oasis bonus will have to be upgraded to store these troops.
