Just me talking (Active Users location)

With the Current active users list at the bottom. I like it at the top of the
page. Is there a way to get it back to the top of the page?
I guess this is for Keebs.
But, I liked it on the top this way I could see who's on when I open the page.
This is me so if anyone else like it on the top join me in asking Keebs to
put it back. :)
Hey if more of IC members like it on the bottom,Keebs can leave it that way.
If anyone know how to make this a poll, please make a poll for this thread.

    If I were to hazard a guess, they moved it to the bottom to make space for banner ads under the site title (and hence make money and eat, etc.). The humor to sell the space is...strange. However it's the most prime real estate on any website to sell for advertisement.

    I think we're going to see more changes to make accomodations for advertisers. The ones I don't like are the mouse-over Ads on emphasized keywords. I think these make posts look cluttered and they aggravate reading the text. However, it's a matter of a living for the owners, though not my preference.

    Actually, I didn't purposefully move it. vBulletin defaults to putting the Active Users, Events, and Birthday boxes at the bottom of the forum index. Responding to previous criticism that the top of the forum index took to long to scroll past, I decided to leave it there after I had to redo the templates a couple months ago. Earlier this week I moved the Birthday box back to the top after people requested it (it only appears when there IS a birthday, so it's invisible today). I can do the same for the rest if people prefer it up there.

    The decision (or lack thereof) had nothing to do with ad space; The only change I recall in the amount of ad space on the forum index in the last six months was the addition of the small links unit under the IC Byte. The latest change was simply to move the 728 x 90 banner above the forum nav bar rather than below it; I did that to sync it with its location on the rest of the site.

    I hate the mouseover keyword ads that appear in articles too (and in the forum for guests), but I'm afraid they're mission-critical presently. :-/

    Well if the people don't want to scoll than it's should stay where you have
    it. I liked it on the top, but I'm only one person and if most like it down
    there well the people spoke and you did what they want.

    Is it possible to make it user specific? I do like it on the top, but not a biggie.

    I have momentarily experienced seizures of rage due to those.
















    At the bottom is fine, btw. Maybe if it was on the side? >.<
