Order to install Driver

What is the best order to install drivers in?

    There will be several who disagree with me but quite frankly I think there are very few situations where this matters as much as some people would like you to think. That being said, I always install chipset and network drivers first. Then video and whatever else.

    I do the following:
    1. Chipset
    2. Updated SATA/AHCI
    3. DirectX
    4. Video
    5. Sound
    6. Other

    How do you figure out what revision your motherboard is?

    As far as I know I didnt install SATA/AHCI last time and everything worked. Where would I find the SATA/AHCI Driver for my computer.
