Dimension 8400 Help

Before my brother left last week he was downloading something and itended up having a virus so i reformatted the hard drive and now im trying to install XP Home, but it says hard disk not found, when i go into the bios it has the 80gb hd in there, i also downloaded the drivers but none of my 2 computers have a floppy drive and it wont work when i try putting the driver on a usb drive

    Are you pressing F6 and loading your disk controller drivers from that USB floppy?

    Do you have the right drivers? Are you sure?

    How exactly did you format that drive?

    Where have those fingers been Kyle?

    You could follow Icrontic's Slipstreaming Guide to insert your SATA drivers into a Windows Installation CD.

    i meant that the drivers wouldnt load into the usb drive, and i didnt mean usb floppy i meant a Sandisk Cruzer ill try doing the slipstream thing
