Crucial Ballistix crap version?

edited August 2008 in Hardware
I'm about to purchase a Crucial Ballistix memory kit. It's specs are as follows:

Part #: BL2KIT12864AA1065
DDR2 PC2-8500
5-5-5-15 Unbuffered NON-ECC
DDR2-1066 2.2V 128Meg x 64

These are single sided modules and i have heard that they don't have Micron D9 chips. Is that right?

As of last year they did, but they probably no longer do.

    They won our PC2-8500 roundup:

    I don't think they're crap at all.
