hp omnibook 900B infrared driver problem on XP pro
hi,
I own this HP Omnibook 900B which works well.
I have installed winxp pro and everythig is OK except the infrared driver which is not found.
I have enabled the infrared in the BIOS, done at least 3 win xp installations, but still it is missing.
I have searched the HP site, found nothing, posted help request on their site, no answer, searched driverguide.com, found 2 win2000 drivers but won't work. Can anybody help?
just to test, I installed win98 and then winme upgrade, infrared worked flawlessly with both, so it ain't hardware problem.
I tried to upgrade from winme to xp, but I don't have the upgrade cd, just the install from scratch one, so winxp erases winme and the infrared problem reapperas.
