I'm in favor of eating in Saturday (or both days). I might have to make it a quick weekend, getting there Friday afternoon and leaving Saturday afternoon.
If you bring a queen size air mattress, I will take a knife to it.
No.
//edit: We do have single-size air mattresses, which are doable. There's no way we can do queen size down there though. We have up to 20 people on Friday night.

Well, two people would be using it, and it's smaller than two singles, so I was hoping that knifing my property could be skipped.
I will bring my single air mattress, sleeping bag, and pillow... since my last pillow has been defiled.
If by defiled you mean "been sitting untouched in the basement by the utility sink with the other 3 pillows we somehow collected", then yes.
CB, if you're going to sleep 2 on it then bring it along if you want. I'm still not convinced there will be enough uninterrupted space for it, but we'll see what we can do. I at least promise to not knife it as long as you aren't sleeping alone on it
I hope so, because I need to sleep on a real bed, and I cannot afford to buy a smaller one right now. I don't want people upset about wasting space, that's why I'm sharing it this time. I would be disappointed if my friends didn't help me tetris it in when I get there.

Dinner Saturday, was suggested by Magic as spaghetti. It is not, however, the spaghetti that I brought last year, that would require me to have started it Monday.. which it is not
So.. Breakfast Sunday is in my court.. Dinner Saturday is still up in the air/up to Magic/all of us.
Any Detroit natives that are not gaming Saturday during the day feel like exploring the city with me, showing me where a few churches are, go with me to the public library? I have some research that I am doing for a history project, and don't feel like getting lost in downtown Detroit. Let me know.
A home cooked breakfast would be fun. However, I don't think it would be fun or easy to cook enough to feed all the people that will be there, in any short amount of time. Going out to eat is more practical. If everyone wants to just wait for a home-cooked meal, i'll help cook(if there are a few others who will help); cooking breakfast for our group is going to be like cooking for a small army. ...i'm looking forward to Ron's!
I've cooked crepes for that many people on several occasions, but in that case it's just a matter of people standing in line (or remembering who's up) to get the next crepe.
I've also cooked scrambled eggs for that many people. In that case it was a matter of having a really big (30 in.) skillet.
I'll preface this by acknowledging that I'm a punk for several reasons, including the fact that I've been trying to bend breakfast plans to fit my schedule:
I can't make it. A bunch of stuff came up today, and I also don't think I can afford the trip right now. Have fun, guys and dolls.

I will admit that you needed to hit me over the head harder... I couldn't for the life of me put 2 and 2 together.
I got home at about 10:45 last night after dropping off CB and sharkydart. The flat tire on the rental car debacle and I-75 being cut down to one lane (which prompted us to stop for a leisurely dinner at Bob Evans) turned the drive into an all-day affair.

You shackin' up with Curtis?
Not if I can't bring my queen-sized mattress.
I have no problem sharing a bed with a friend, be it big enough.

Actually, by defiled, I meant http://icrontic.com/forum/showpost.php?p=638029&postcount=39.

Just wanted to be clear on that
Breakfast Saturday?
Right, I've just been trying to convince people to do the home-cooked breakfast on Saturday instead.
I cook for 14 - 18 people every year at Christmas.. its not too hard, you just have to know what order to do it in

I have an emergency bachelor party Sat night though...

Till next time, my friend, cheers
