Gmail account info

It seems that Gmail has recently (at least I discovered it quite recently) implemented a function so that one can view recent activity on the signed-in account, such as dates, IP addresses etc. This is indeed an improvement.

However, the function seems not yet to be fully consistent. It seems like that function and the Gmail inbox rate the same date to be a different number of days ago. And it also seems to claim that I was signed in at dates that I can't recall I was. Sure, my memory isn't perfect, but I have a rough idea about when I was signed in the last time. However, it shows my IP at all the dates. So just to be sure, I'd like to know if it's in any way possible that it may be signed in from another computer and the Gmail thingy will still show my IP as the IP of that session, or if my IP at all times is bullet-proof that nobody else has signed in (unless that person was using my computer)? Paranoia perhaps, but the thing is apparently not entirely trustworthy anyways.

No, if you are signed in from another computer it'll log that connections IP. If however they are two different computers on the same network going through a router, both computers would actually log with the same IP as it's the external IP address that Gmail would be logging.
