Editor BIOS and wireless router help

edited September 2008 in Science & Tech
Hello, can anyone help me give me a copy to download Editor Bios and what Bios software editor and give me step by step procedure on how should I start to change the DEV/Vend ID/SubSys ID of the Wireless Mini PCI card's DEV/Vend ID/SubSys ID with a new DEV/Vend ID/SubSys ID? Because I want it to change my Wireless Mini PCI Card's Dev/Vend ID/SubSys ID so it will recognized its ID and no more "104-unsupported Wireless Device Detected. System Halt."

Please send me messages. Thank you.

Ummm if you have the right drivers you shouldn't be getting that message. Trying to flash the bios with false information will lead to other problems.

HP got SKANKY by only allowing certified HP cards to be install to meet some FCC BS... :D

BIOS nails the uncertified card right at post time and locks it out...
Knoppix and a little firmware can supposedly solve this issue.
