Spybot Search & Destroy Notification Icon

i have uninstalled Spybot S&D but it's icon still comes up everytime i startup windows on Notification Area....

how do i remove this? and i mean how to i remove it permanently including any folder that it resides at on my HDD

    Firstly I have to ask why you want to remove it? This is one of the best free anti spyware programes around. You should just be able to uninstall it from add remove programes. Make sure you uninstall tea timer as well as that is the system tray icon. If you are worried about Spy Bot taking up resource you can actually disable tea timer with out uninstalling. That way it only takes up resource when you are running the main program
