Adobe Reader 8.0 Tabs

edited September 2008 in Science & Tech
does Adobe Reader 8.0 have a tab feature? like Internet Browsers (FF, Chrome)

i realise that i do alot of PDF reading and all my ebooks open separately, so i'm just curious to know if Adobe Reader 8.0 has tab features or maybe a tab plugin hehe

Foxit Reader. Smaller footprint, tabs, etc. And free. Awesome.

It's a feature in the latest version.

Also, if you have Adobe Reader please purge it from your system. No need for 2 PDF readers.

Why do you say that? I've been using Foxit for some time now and find it much better then acrobat. The first version with the 0 install footprint had problems with compatibility as Adobe moved forward. But now that they have a more featured version it's fantastic. I've yet to stumble into any compatibility features. The downside is that as they add compatibility and more tools the foot print grows. So where it used to be about 2 megs it's now 12.

Kryyst, you're misreading Thrax's statement. He's saying "[Adobe] Reader's junk."

And manuleka, there is no compelling reason whatsoever to keep Adobe Reader installed on your machine when you have Foxit installed. None. Foxit is so superior it's going on all the new PC images for my company.

Yep, yep I was. That's what happens when I've got my internal punctuation filters turned off.
