Hi, at the moment i have enough money for a 4870 so im going to get one. Originally i was going to get a new case but i figured that my currant case will do.

Also in the future im thinking of going crossfire.

What sort of wattage should i need?
Im looking for a modular power supply with 6 pin and 8 pin connectors.
I found this http://www.ebuyer.com/product/134694 .

It looks the part so do you think that will run 2 4870's?
Or could i save some money with somthing more suitable.

Thanks.

We kinda need more information, you said you were gonna run 4870 and then possibly do crossfire... But what CPU, Ram (number of sticks) number of HDD and ODD, any add in cards (ie sound card/raid card...) I would suggest that you go higher, mainly because the higher you go now the longer you make make it last. I would suggest http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817153062

it has more than enough plus, all the conenctors you will need... If you want the best warranty get the PC Power & Cooling model, its more expensive but lifetime warranty.

I definatly want modular as i hate cables having to be bunched up and hanging around at the top.

I've never heard of those last psu's you linked to.

I would recommend the Corsair HX620 for your needs (single vid card). It's built for Corsair by Seasonic, uses all Japanese capacitors in it, modular, and plenty powerful enough to run a 4870. It is also almost dead silent too. I have one of those and it's a high quality product and it also doesn't have the ripple problem that the the psu's built on the FSP Epsilon platform have at high load levels (which I believe some of the OCZ units are based on).

If you want to go Crossfire with 2 4870's in the future, I wouldn't go with anything less than something like this BFG ES800W. Another very high quality psu, but not modular unfortunately.

    OK then, corsair it is.
Are those flat cables easy for cable management? can they be sleeved easily?
