Hi, i will be buying a 4870 soon and i really dont know what psu to get.

I would also like this psu to be able to support future upgrades like a quad core, more ram another hdd and prehaps crossfire another 4870.
What sort of wattage would i need?

Can anyone link me to a good psu with the required pce-e connectors.

So basically if i want to go crossfire i should go for around a 800w psu? that seems a little overkill. I woulf of thought a good 650 or 700 would be plenty.

There are 650's and 750's in that list.

500+ for single, 750+ for X-Fire. That's what I recommend. On top of that, try your best to get an 80 Plus certified PSU, you won't be disappointed.

    4870 doesn't require an 8-pin. The 4870 X2 does..

Wooooooo, thank you so much. I forgot that it was only 2 6 pins. Corsair 620 modular it is then!
